Decided to come here for lunch on Thursday with my mother. Great decision. This location is very modern compared to their first restaurant. However, they were still able to tie in that old-school luxury field to their decor. We absolutely loved it. we ordered the special, which was I believe Seabass over risotto. Let me just say, that it was the most delicious risotto I think I have ever had! The service was also incredible. From our waitress to the waiting staff, everyone was very alert and helpful. We absolutely loved it here.

From the hostess to the culinary experience, all was impeccable and excellent. Our servers were extremely attentive, much appreciated. We went for lunch and it was pretty full however our servers never let our glasses of water reach halfway and checked up on us several times. Ambience was very chill and restrooms were clean! Pricing was also decent - will go back again very soon!

Food= Delicious Service= Good Place= Clean I've recently started coming here again. They bought the place next door & turned it into a bar. You can sit on either side & dine. The octopus here is amazing. They cook it in a way that the outside gets caramelized & crispy & of course it's never rubbery. It's a must if you like octopus. The tuna tartar is also delicious & a generous portion. Everything else I've tried has been good, but those 2 things are my favorites. Sometimes I go to their other location in Shenandoah, but they don't have the same menu. Although that location is also very good, I prefer the menu here (Shenandoah doesn't have the octopus or the tuna tartar). Parking can be a pain. I wish they'd play some good music to liven up the ambience. It's a cool location in the middle of South Miami. The ambience is kind of meh, so go for the food.

We just loved this place. Classy setting and fine service. The seafood feijoada was superb. Filled with eminently fresh clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari and Portuguese sausage in a white bean stew. It's OMG good. The beans where perfect: tender and creamy. Try the cool sausage flambé app also.

Really enjoyed my dinner here tonight. Top notch service and lovely live music set the tone to a fantastic evening. Their house Pinot noir was fresh and delicious. We started with potato soup that was divine. Served hot didn't have to send it back to reheat. Then we shared the paella parillada de mariscos seafood with lobster tail. Big enough for two to share. The rice is wet "chorrera style" so be aware. All very good. They also have a decaf espresso cortadito that was really good. I was very satisfied with our dining experience tonight. And South Miami area is just lovely. I recommend.

Great times at OLD Lisbon. Don't be distracted by the name. There's nothing old about it. The South Miami location is situated in a perfect spot, has closeby parking, and is very visible. The staff, the service, and the ambience were excellent. We ordered the following appetizers Bolinhos de Bacalhau Codfish Croquettes, Black-eyed peas - very nice mixture of hot Croquettes with cold beans & Sardinhas Grilled Portuguese sardines, traditional & delicious full sardines. For our entrées we ordered Costela de Vitela, a Veal short rib, with grilled tomatoes, onions, garlic, and roasted potatoes. This dish was delicious. The short rib was so succulent that it fell off the bone. So scrumptious! Bife de Churrasco steak with rice and fried potatoes, cooked perfectly & the Camarão à Creme, shrimp in garlic sauce with rice and fried potatoes. Very nice. It all paired well with a suggested Tinto 2015 Duoro Portuguese wine. Excellent recommendation! For dessert, we ordered the homemade chocolate mousse, which was an extremely decadent, rich mousse. Reminded me of a rich fudge or fondant. Also got the Delicia de Fatima, egg yolk custards. This was 2 tiny little custards, but they were very delicious. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars for greatness overall. We were very satisfied and we will go again.

We knew it was good when the restaurant was full even just after school let out--when Miami empties out for major vacay time. There were even people waiting, so definitely make reservations. I'm not a fan of the salted cod dishes, but the salmon was great, the octopus was great, and the flaming sausage was great. I just learned that Monday and Thursday nights they have a saxophonist () so can't wait to come back.
